1) Iguazu Waterfalls

Iguazu Waterfalls is the second largest waterfalls in the world. In 1980, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is also one of the seven wonders. It consists of 275 small waterfalls and cascades. The best view of the falls is from Devils Throat where you can see the water falling from 230 feet. The junction of the waterfalls marks the border between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.

2) Puerto Madryn

Puerto Madryn is located in Argentine Patagonia. It offers three wonderful attraction to visit when in Argentina. The first is watching Southern Right Whale in the Gulf of Nuevo(best between September and October).The second attraction is to see the Magellanic Penguin colony in Punta Tombo, which is a Natural Protected Area. The third attraction is an excursion to Peninsula Valdes which is a wildlife sanctuary for marine species and birds.

3) Talampaya

Talampaya

This is the place that is the home to the long extinction of dinosaurs and is also the birth place of some of the first humans that came into existence. In 2000 the place was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site and is 1500 meters above sea level. It contains several quintessential paleontological and archaeological sites in the world.

4) Quebrada de Humahuaca

Quebrada de Humahuaca

Quebrada de Humahuaca is located in the north west of the country in the Province of Jujuy,not far from the border between Argentina and Bolivia .Quebrada is a ravine which is 2000 meters above sea level and is 150 kilometers long. It is a spectacular and incredible multicolored rock formation and truly has to be seen to imagine.

5) Mendoza Province

Mendoza Province

The Mendoza Province is best known for its wine. The most famous wines from the region are Malbec but it also produces other wines like Tempranillo, Syrah and Semillon. There are many organized tours available to visit the various vineyards. The Mendoza province has some excellent skiing destinations like Los Molles and Los Penitentes. Las Lenas is famous for rafting. Aconcagua is the highest mountain in the Andes and is famous for hiking trails. It is also the largest mountain in the world outside Asia.
